As a strategic buyer, you will play a crucial role in achieving our business objectives. By optimising and harmonising our procurement processes and managing business relationships with suppliers, you will ensure that we can improve our sourcing of services to increase our productivity and profitability.
WAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
- You will develop and implement an effective procurement strategy;
- You will negotiate price, quality and delivery terms with suppliers, especially for high volumes;
- You will analyse market developments and monitor procurement costs;
- You will optimise procurement processes and procedures;
- You will contribute to improving the company's productivity and profitability.
What ARE WE LOOKING FOR IN YOU?
- What will you bring?
- Minimum HBO working and thinking level through experience or education;
- Working experience in a similar position within the Automotive or transport industry;
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills;
- An enthusiastic and driven personality with an enterprising, proactive and results-oriented attitude;
- Good communication skills in Dutch and English (and German is a big plus).
Who ARE WE?
Transporting Wheels is an independent online platform for offering, scheduling and managing car transports. The company eliminates empty transporters by giving car transporters insight into where vehicles are located that need to be transported. This allows transporters to optimally plan their trips and empty driving becomes a thing of the past. Transporting Wheels is growing fast and has the ambition to become the market leader in several countries. The team consists of over 30 colleagues in the Netherlands, Germany and France (Spain and Belgium will be added in the near future) and there is a relaxed atmosphere in which people work hard and have room for their own initiatives.

- Salary depends on knowledge and experience (indication: €4,098 - €6.045 euro based on a 40-hour working week);
